LOL Movie Quotes
'LOL' movie quotes include the best lines from this 2012 romantic comedy starring Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore. In 'LOL,' Cyrus is Lola (or 'Lol' to her friends), a rebellious, free-spirited teenager trying to find her way. When Lola's boyfriend breaks up with her, she's devastated. Over time, however, her friendship with cutie musician Kyle (Douglas Booth) turns into something much more. 'LOL' is a remake of the 2008 movie 'LOL (Laughing Out Loud).' 'LOL' is a coming of age movie that centers around Lola (Cyrus). When Lola gets dumped by her boyfriend, she goes into a total tailspin -- and her mom notices. Lola's grades are slipping, she's not focused on anything (other than partying) and she's generally a pain to live with. When Lola's mom, Anne (Moore), reads her (racy) journal entries, she becomes even more concerned. Can mom and daughter work things out? Will Lola find love with her friend, Kyle? And, most importantly, can she survive the drama that is high school? 'LOL' also stars Ashley Greene, Marlo Thomas and Thomas Jane.

LOL Movie Quotes,

Grounded

Lola: "I know that this looks really bad..."
Anne: "This looks really bad. You're grounded!"

Ah, yes: All coming of age movies feature the Parent discovering that the Kid has thrown a massive party while they're away. In this case, Anne arrives home early to find that her beloved daughter, Lola, has thrown an epic bash, trashing their home. Getting grounded is getting off easy.
Never That Bad

Gran (hugs Anne): "Come here..."
Anne: "I was never that bad, was I?"
Gran: "Well, sometimes you were."

All parents probably wonder if they were as "bad" as their kids -- and yeah, they probably were. Gran pretty much let's Anne know this, in a sweet, motherly way, of course. Eventually, Anne got it together -- and so will Lola.
So Real

Lola: "I can’t love him but I do. I feel so real with him."

Awww, young love, isn't it dramatic? When Kyle and Lola start spending a lot more time together, it's almost inevitable that they're going to hook up. Is this more than friendship? Possibly so.
Laugh

Principal: "And your reason for being late is..."
Kyle: "Well you're gonna laugh..."
Principal: "This is as much as I laugh."

Kyle is there for Lola after her horrible breakup, providing some much-needed distraction from all the sadness and the drama. Unfortunately, he's also helping to get her into a little trouble at school...
Messing Up

Anne: "Until you turn 18, there's a few things that I won't tolerate."
Lola: "Really? Like what?"
Anne: "Like messing up your life."

Lola's going off the rails, and it's up to her mom, Anne (Demi Moore), to step in with a little parental discipline. And as much as Lola probably doesn't want to hear it, her mom means well. She's trying her best to keep Lola from screwing up too badly.
What Are You Thinking?

Anne: "A B in Math? A C in History? A D in Biology? Lola, what are you thinking?"

Grades slipping? Yeah, that's a huge problem, and Lola's mom knows it. What is she thinking? She's thinking that life basically stinks, and all she wants to do is party -- Biology just isn't a top priority at the moment.
Never Let You Go

Kyle: "We're friends, but, I just want you to know that if I were him I'd never let you go."

Kyle is best buds with Lola's ex-boyfriend, Chad. When Chad and Lola split, he and Lola grow close. It sure sounds like he's interested in being much more than just friends, doesn't it?
Love Someone

Lola: "It’s so good to love someone so much it hurts...I don't know how people survive this."

They do survive, Lola, but in the short-term, love really sucks -- especially when it's love during high school. Lola writes all of her feelings out in her journal, but she needs to be careful, or her mom might find it.
Skankville

Lola: "I hate her, look at her -- even her underwear is skankville."
Janice: "I wish I had her a**, though."

Like any typical teenage girl, Lola is consumed with jealousy when her boyfriend dumps her for another girl, Ashley (someone who puts the "skank" in "skankville"). Can Lola move past all of that and into the arms of a boy who really likes her?
