The Smurfs Movie Quotes
The Smurfs finally hit the big screen in July of 2011, and, not suprisingly, moviegoers got some great 'Smurfs' movie quotes to enjoy. Smurftastic! Check out some of the best funny quotes from 'The Smurfs' movie (in 3D) here - and feel free to add more!

Despite some pretty hilariously bad reviews, the Smurfs proved just how popular they really are, raking in nearly $36 million in the 'Smurfs' movie's first weekend of release. The film went on to become one of the biggest grossing films of summer 2011. As of late-August 2011, 'The Smurfs' movie had grossed nearly $126 million in U.S. ticket sales.

Yes, the much-beloved, blue, magical creatures are the stars of 'The Smurfs,' and once again, they're pursued by the evil wizard Gargamel. This time, there's a bit of a twist: Instead of trying to escape Gargamel's wrath in their own, peaceful village, the tiny Smurfs are transported to New York City where Neil Patrick Harris, aka Patrick, has to help them find a way back home.

The Smurfs Movie Quotes,

Blue Cheese!
Jokey Smurf (to Clumsy): "What do you get when you cross a Smurf with a cow? Blue cheese! Hahahaha! I got you a present!"
Clumsy Smurf: "Oh no thanks Jokey, I'm late for rehearsal..."
(Present explodes into confetti, Jokey laughs)

Another great, funny quote - one the kiddos are sure to enjoy!
Smurfette's Girlfriend
Smurfette: (to Grace) "I never had a girlfriend before. I'll never forget you."
They're Friendly
Grace: "They're friendly!"
Gutsy Smurf: "That's right ya pasty giant!" (Smacks Patrick)

Grace (Jayma Mays) definitely picks up on the Smurfs' true nature more quickly than her significant other, deeming them "cute" and "friendly," even as they're kicking Patrick's butt in his own living room.
I Kissed a Smurf
Papa Smurf: "What do you sing?"
Smurfette: "I kissed a Smurf and I liked it!"

Great quote, considering Smurfette is voiced by "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry.
Unforgettable
Clumsy Smurf: "I am pretty unforgettable."

Yes, Clumsy, you are truly unforgettable. So are all the other Smurfs. That's why we're all so stoked to see you on the big screen now!
Is a Smurf's Butt Blue?
Patrick: "You guys drink coffee?"
Papa Smurf: "Is a Smurf's butt blue?"

Leave it to Papa Smurf (Jonathan Winters) to have some of the most quotable lines in the movie. Surprised? Abso-smurfing-lutely not!
Googling the Smurfs
Patrick: "Okay, to review: You guys come from a magic forest where you live in oversized mushrooms."
Papa Smurf: "Yes."
Patrick: "You're being chased by an evil wizard."
Papa Smurf: "Yea."
Patrick: "And you're trapped in New York until there's a blue moon."
Papa Smurf: "Very good."
Patrick: "And you like to use the extremely imprecise term 'Smurf' for just about everything."
Brainy Smurf: "Smurf-xactly!"
Patrick: "And you're all named after your personalities? Do you get your names when you're born or after you've exhibited certain traits?"
Brainy Smurf: "Whoa, just what is this magic searching device?"
Patrick: "Right now I'm using Google."
All Smurfs: (in unison) "Oooooh...Google..."

Yes, even the Smurfs are in awe of Google. Wait til they get a load of Spotify! Smurftastic!
Escape to New York
Smurfette: "Oh. My. Smurf!"

Yes, Smurfette (Katy Perry), we agree. One minute you're thriving in the (relative) safety of your little village - the next, you're in Central Park, overwhelmed by the crazy busy Big Apple. No smurf!
Smurfity Smurf!
Patrick: "Stop saying 'smurf' for everything. Smurfity smurf smurf smurf!"
(Smurfs collectively gasp)
Gutsy Smurf: "There's NO call for that kind of language, laddy!"

Patrick! Such language! Thankfully Gusty Smurf (Alan Cumming) is there to set you straight.
Do Not Be Fooled...
Patrick: "Grace! I'm being attacked! Do not be fooled by their cuteness!"

Poor Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris). After he opens a package (from Belgium, of course) and finds the Smurfs inside, they take off - only to be chased by Patrick's dog, Elway. Eventually they subdue a panicked Patrick, who warns his beloved that they may be adorable, but they are scary! (Scary? He'll learn.)
