'Moneyball' movie quotes include some of the best lines from Brad Pitt, who plays real-life Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane in the film. Beane's unique system of scouting and evaluating players helped to change the game of baseball. If your favorite 'Moneyball' quote isn't on this list, add it!
'Moneyball' is based on the best-selling book 'Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game' by Michael Lewis (who also wrote 'The Blind Side'). Love him or hate him, few can deny that Billy Beane's sabermetric approach to baseball did get everyone's attention. How do you take a team of total underdogs and make them winners? Beane's system.
'Moneyball' features an all-star cast, led by Brad Pitt, but also including Jonah Hill (as the Ivy League wiz who helps Beane come up with a formula to get players), Philip Seymour Hoffman (as A's manager, Art Howe) and Robin Wright. In January of 2012, 'Moneyball' received multiple Academy Awards nominations, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Pitt), Best Supporting Actor (Hill) and Best Adapted Screenplay.

Moneyball Movie Quotes,
Who Are You?
Billy Beane: "Who are you?"
Peter Brand: "I'm Peter Brand."
Billy Beane: "I don't give a rats a** what you're name is. What happened in there? What happened in that room?!"
When Billy's negotiations with Mark Shapiro and Cleveland don't go well, realizes that one reason he didn't get a certain player, Garcia, is because of Peter Brand. He seeks him out to find out what's going on - and wonders why on EARTH Peter would like Garcia. Billy's decision to track Brand down will change the course of the A's and the game of baseball.
Change the Game
Billy Beane: "If we pull this off, we change the game. We change the game for good."
They did and...they did. The game is definitely changed, as a direct result of what Billy Beane pulled off in Oakland.
Romantic About Baseball
Billy Beane: "How can you not be romantic about baseball?"
Say what you want about Billy Beane's system and tactics, but there's no denying he loves the game.
It's Incredibly Hard
Scott Hatteberg: "I've only ever played catcher."
Billy Beane: "It's not that hard, Scott. Tell him, Wash."
Ron Washington: "It's incredibly hard.
This is a great, funny moment in 'Moneyball,' when Billy is trying to sign Scott Hatteburg (catcher) to play first base for him with the A's. Coach Ron Washington thinks Billy's out of his mind, but he tries to go along anyway - up to a point.
Money Decision
Billy Beane: "I made one decision in my life based on money. And I swore I would never do it again."
When Billy gets a huge offer from a "big money" MLB team, it's tempting. But he remembers a decision years earlier - when he took the money to play pro baseball and turned down a full ride to Stanford. That decision haunts him.
The Player You Are Now
Billy Beane: "David, you're 37. How about you and I be honest about what each of us want out of this? I want to milk the last ounce of baseball you got in you, and you want to stay in the show. Let's do that. Now, I'm not paying you for the player you used to be - I'm playing you for the player you are right now. You're smart, you get what we're trying to do here. Make an example for the younger guys, be a leader. Can you do that?"
David Justice: "Alright, I got you."
Billy has a heart to heart with David Justice, explaining that he really needs him to step up and be a true team leader. He also diplomatically (ahem) points out that he's not really paying him the true big bucks - and neither are the Yankees. David's time to be "told" he can no longer play the game is coming. For now, though, he's got a chance, as Billy says, to stay "in the show."
Rich Teams, Poor Teams
Billy Beane: "The problem we're trying to solve is that there are rich teams, and there are poor teams. Then there's 50 feet of crap. And then there's us. It's an unfair game."
This quote sums things up nicely. The Oakland A's are a less-than-poor team when Billy Beane becomes the general manager. What can he do to change things? A lot.
Two Options
Billy Beane: "Would you rather get a bullet to the head five to the chest and bleed to death?"
Peter Brand: "Are those my only two options?"
Billy uses this analogy to explain how and why he lets players go the way he does - quickly. Tell them they're cut, and get them out the door to minimize the pain. They're professionals, they'll understand. "No fluff, just facts."
Ugly Girlfriend: No Confidence
A's Scout: "I like Perez."
A's Scout: "He's got an ugly girlfriend. Ugly girlfriend means no confidence."
Old school thinking re: scouting in baseball in this quote. Understandably, Billy bristles at these ideas.
We're All Told
Scout: "We're all told at some point in time that we can no longer play the children's game, we just don't...we don't know when that's gonna be. Some of us are told at eighteen, some of us are told at forty, but we're all told."
The scout's comment comes as he's meeting with a young Billy Beane's parents about an opportunity to play pro ball for the New York Mets. Billy has a full ride to Stanford, but the Mets are making him a huge offer. The scout is explaining that time is wasting - that if he wants to play professional ball, every year counts.

'Jack and Jill' movie quotes include some of the best lines from this 2011 Adam Sandler comedy. In the film, Sandler plays ad executive Jack Sadelstein. When Jack's wacky twin sister, Jill (also Sandler), comes to visit for the holidays, she wreaks havoc on Jack's normally tranquil, quiet life. I've included some of the funniest 'Jack and Jill' quotes on this list, though I'm sure I've missed a few. If you can't find what you think are the best quotes from the movie, add them! Also, be sure to vote for the quotes you think are the best (or the worst - you can easily vote them down as well).
'Jack and Jill' is directed by Dennis Dugan ('Parenthood,' 'Just Go With It') and the movie also stars Katie Holmes and Al Pacino (as himself). Several other big name celebrities appear in the film as themselves, including Shaquille O'Neal, Drew Carey and Regis Philbin. Despite some pretty hilariously negative movie reviews, 'Jack and Jill' still managed to become a hit at the box office. Since it was released on November 11, 2011, 'Jack and Jill' has taken in nearly $71 million at U.S. theaters. It seems that Adam Sandler movie fans are not deterred, even by scathing reviews!
So what are the best Jack and Jill movies? This list will answer that question.
If you like these 'Jack and Jill' movie quotes, you might enjoy these other lists of funny movie quotes, including 'The Muppets,' 'Hugo,' 'Arthur Christmas,' 'Happy Feet Two,' 'A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas,' 'Tower Heist,' 'The Rum Diary,' 'Puss in Boots,' 'Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star' and '50/50.'
Jack and Jill Movie Quotes,
Email
Jack (yelling, loudly): "She's forwarding her mail to us now!"
Yes Jack, Jill is digging in and settling down for the long haul. You know you're in deep trouble when your horrible house guest forwards mail to your home...
He's Homeless, Right?
Jack: "Jill this is Otto."
Otto: "Nice to meet you."
Jill: (Yells) :Nice to meet you! He's homeless, right?"
Jack: "Are you whispering with a bull horn or something? Everybody hears you."
Jill is nothing if not subtle. Poor Otto.
Feel That?
Erin: "Some twins can feel when the other one is hurt."
(Jack's son, Gary, punches Jill)
Jill: "Ow!"
Gary: "Feel that?"
Jack: "I actually did feel something there. Pride in my son."
Jack really isn't having the best of holidays, what with his obnoxious twin sister Jill around. His son's decision to test the whole "twins can feel each others pain" theory is pretty funny.
Four Days
Jack: "I love my sister, and I can keep my cool. It's just for four days."
Anyone else thinking that Jill's four-day visit might be extended? Like, for weeks? Me neither.
Dunkin Donuts Commercial
Jack: "This is the guy who's gonna do a Dunkin Donuts commercial."
Al Pacino...in a Dunkin Donuts commercial?! Yep, but there's a catch - Pacino is apparently suffering some huge nervous breakdown. That's about the ONLY way you'd get him to do a Dunkin Donuts commercial...
Not Alike
Gary: "You and Jill are so alike!"
Jack: "We are nothing alike, I promise you."
When Jack's son, Gary, decides to point out Jack and Jill's similarities, Jack (understandably) gets irritated. The kid, however, isn't too far off with this observation...
Internet Thing
Jill: "What is this Internet thing? You KNOW I don't understand those things - I don't even OWN a calculator!"
In addition to being one of the most annoying house guests in history, Jill is apparently also grossly inept when it comes to the basics of technology. Do NOT let her near your computer, Jack. You'll regret it.
Fatter and Balder
Jill: "Are you going bald?"
Jack: "Huh?"
Jill: "No no no, you're getting fatter, and your hair doesn't realize it needs to cover more face."
Jack: "Okay."
Or perhaps his forehead is growing larger, Jill? Classic passive-aggressive behavior. Jack is in for a really rough few days...
Twister With Your Sister
Jack: "This is insane, man, you've got to call him!"
Jill: "Oh will you stop already? You know all he wants to do is play Twister with your sister."
When Jill takes Jack to a Lakers game, she gets hit on by none other than Al Pacino. Yes, you read that right. Jack thinks she's nuts for not going crazy over Pacino's advances. Strangely, she seems indifferent. Jill: You are a 40-something, unmarried woman. Al Pacino is STILL hot. Play Twister.
Busted and Disgusted
Gary: "Busted, disgusted - never to be trusted!"
Jack's son, Gary (Rohan Chand) has some of the funniest one-liners in 'Jack and Jill.'

"Big Hero 6" movie quotes take viewers on an animated adventure to fight crime alongside a crew of six, five nerds and one very huggable robot. The superhero movie, which was based on the Marvel Comics characters of the same name, was written by Robert L. Baird, Daniel Gerson and Jordan Roberts using a story Roberts created with Don Hall. Directed by Hall and Chris Williams, "Big Hero 6" opened in theaters in the United States on November 7, 2014.
In "Big Hero 6," Hiro Hamada (voiced by Ryan Potter) is a teenage robotics wiz who discovers Baymax (voiced by Scott Adsit), a health care companion robot his brother created. Along with Baymax, Hiro falls victim to an attack by a crazy man in a kabuki mask and in turn uncovers a crime ring in the metropolis of San Fransokyo.
With the police little help, Hiro rounds up his nerd buddies, including Go Go Tomago (voiced by Jamie Chung), Fred (voiced by T.J. Miller), Wasabi (voiced by Damon Wayons Jr.) and Honey Lemon (voiced by Genesis Rodriguez) and Baymax, plus outfits the team with robotics gear, and sets out to fight the lunatic himself.
"Big Hero 6" brings a family film to theaters packed with a bunch of other great more mature movies including "Interstellar," "Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)," "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day," and "The Boxtrolls."
Big Hero 6 Movie Quotes,
Your Personal Health Care Companion
Hiro Hamada: "Ow, ow, ow!"
Baymax: "Hello, I am Baymax, you personal health care companion."
Hiro Hamada: "Uh, hey, Baymax. I didn't know you were still active."
Baymax: "I heard a sound of distress. What seems to be the trouble?"
Hiro Hamada: "Oh, I just stubbed my toe a little. I'm fine."
Baymax: "On a scale of one to 10, how would you rate your pain?"
Hiro Hamada: "A zero? I'm okay, really. Thanks. You can shrink now."
Baymax: "Does it hurt when I touch it."
Hiro Hamada: "That's okay. No touching. I'm fine."
Baymax: "You have fallen."
Hiro Hamada: "You think?"
Hiro Hamada: "Ow!"
Baymax: "On a scale of…"
Hiro Hamada: "Ow!"
Baymax: "On a scale of…"
Hiro Hamada: "Ow!"
Baymax: "On a scale of one to 10, how would you rate your pain?"
Hiro Hamada: "Zero"
Baymax: "It is all right to cry."
Hiro Hamada: "No, no, no, no, no"
Baymax: "Crying is a natural response to pain."
Hiro Hamada: "I'm not crying."
Baymax: "I will scan you for injuries."
Hiro Hamada: "Don't scan me."
Baymax: "Scan complete."
Hiro Hamada: "Unbelievable!"
Baymax: "You have sustained no injuries, however, your hormone and neurotransmitter levels indicate that you are experiencing mood swings, common in adolescents. Diagnosis: puberty."
Hiro Hamada: "Whoa, what?"
Hiro is surprised to see Baymax activated in his room and even more surprised at how persistent Baymax is to act as his personal health care companion. Baymax means well but it gets weird real fast.
I Am Not Fast
Hiro Hamada: "Come on!"
Baymax: "I am not fast."
Hiro Hamada: "Yeah, no kidding"
When fighting crime on the streets of San Fransokyo, having a slow, stout robot buddy holding you back isn't exactly optimal. Baymax, sadly, is quite aware of his lack of speed. Poor guy.
How Cool is That?
Go Go Tomago: "A lunatic in a mask just tried to kill us."
Fred: "How cool is that? I mean, it's scary, obviously, but how cool?"
The crew has some mixed reactions to the masked lunatic chasing them. Go Go Tomago is frightened while Fred is more enthused by the events.
We Jumped Out a Window
Hiro Hamada: "If my aunt asks, we were at school all day. Got it?"
Baymax: "We jumped out a window!"
Hiro Hamada: "No! Quiet! Shhh!"Baymax: [whispering] "We jumped out a window."
Hiro Hamada: "You can't say things like that around Aunt Cass! Shhh!"
Baymax: "Shhh!"
After a long day of crime fighting, Hiro and Baymax arrive home to see Aunt Cass. Baymax is pretty excited to share the day's events with her, Hiro not so much.
Going to Need Some Upgrades
Hiro Hamada: "We've gotta catch that guy but first, you're going to need some upgrades."
…
Go Go Tomago: "Why is Baymax wearing carbon fiber underpants?"
Baymax: "This may undermine my non-threatening huggable design."
Fred: "He's glorious!"
Hiro gives his crew some upgrades to their gear to help them fight crime. While it does give them some tactical advantages, there are also some awkward questions that come with it.
We're Nerds
Hiro Hamada: "We've gotta catch him!"
Wasabi: "We can't go against that guy. We're nerds!"
Hiro Hamada: "Trust me, I know about robotics. We can be way more."
…
Wasabi: "Anybody else's suit riding up on them?"
Hiro doesn't care that they are a bunch of nerds and clearly not suited for crime fighting. He knows he can use his skills in robotics to give them the advantage.
Tadashi, My Older Brother
Tadashi Hamada: "This is the first test of my robotics project… Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop… The seventh test"
Hiro Hamada: "This is Tadashi, my older brother."
Tadashi Hamada: "33rd test… This is the 84th test."
Baymax: "Hello, I am Baymax."
Tadashi Hamada: "It worked! Oh, this is amazing!"
Hiro Hamada: "He wanted to help a lot of people. People keep saying Tadashi is not really gone as long as we remember him."
Hiro talks of his brother and watches videos of Tadashi working on his robot, Baymax. While Tadashi is no longer around, his inventions and work remain.
A Man in a Kabuki Mask
Police Officer: "All right, let me get this straight. A man in a kabuki mask attacked you with an army of miniature flying robots."
Hiro Hamada: "Microbots, Baymax, tell him."
Baymax: "Yes, officer"
Police Officer: "Microbots"
Hiro Hamada: "Yeah, he was controlling them telepathically with a neuro-cranial transmitter."
Police Officer: "So Mr. Kabuki was using ESP to attack you and balloon man."
Hiro Hamada: "I know it sounds crazy."
Police Officer: "Kid, how about we call your parents and get them down here?"
Hiro Hamada: "What?"
Police Officer: "Write your name and number down on this piece of paper and we can…"
When Hiro and Baymax head to the police station to report the crime they were victim of, the police officer is of little help. This leaves Hiro with the only option to go out and fight against the bad guys himself.

'Happy Feet Two' movie quotes are hilarious! The adorable penguins are back, and they're funnier than ever in this 3D follow up to 2006's 'Happy Feet.' Some of the best lines come from Mumble and his young son, Erik, but other characters - like the lovesick Ramon (voiced by Robin Williams) - simply steal the show with great dialogue. And yes, the penguins are dancing and singing their fluffy little hearts out all over the Antarctic, too. Do you see a favorite 'Happy Feet Two' quote that isn't on this list? Add it! And be sure to vote for what you think are the best lines in the movie.
'Happy Feet Two' follows a similar path as its predecessor: A young penguin with a yen for dancing (and rapping), Erik (Ava Acres), works to fit in with the penguin colony - much the way his father, Mumble (Elijah Wood) did in the original 'Happy Feet' movie. Throw in some new characters, Will and Bill the Krill (voiced by Brad Pitt and Matt Damon), a hot new penguin that catches Ramon's eye and captures his heart, Carmen (Sofia Vergara), the flamboyant and daring Mighty Sven (Hank Azaria) and yes, the ever-so-colorful Lovelace (Robin Williams), and you've got another animated 'Happy Feet' feel-good film!
What are your favorite Happy Feet Two quotes? Take a look here and decide for yourself.
Looking for more fun, family movie quotes? Check out these lists for the best lines from 'The Muppets,' 'Hugo,' 'Arthur Christmas,' 'Puss in Boots,' 'Tower Heist,' 'Jack and Jill,' 'Toy Story 3,' 'The Rum Diary,'
'The Smurfs' movie, 'Cars 2,' the original 'Cars' movie and other great Pixar films.
Happy Feet Two Quotes,
The Outside
Carmen: "Ramon, you're beautiful!"
Ramon: "Only on the outside..."
Ah, so Ramon IS making progress with Carmen. Now, tone down the ego just a tad...
Fat Chance
Carmen: "You. Me. Fat chance!"
Ramon: "I have a chance, and it's fat!"
Oh, Ramon. You're so desperate for love that you take rejection as acceptance! Ramon is totally taken with the beautiful and exotic Carmen - but she's not so into him, apparently.
Food Chain
Will the Krill: "I'm moving up the food chain! I'm gonna chew on something that has a face!"
Bill the Krill: "No no no no...."
Will the Krill: (latches on, chomps down) "A little...chewy."
Bill the Krill: "You just nibbled on it's butt!"
Meet two more new characters in the 'Happy Feet' family: the Krills, Will and Bill. They'll probably be huge hits, too. Oh, and the voices? Brad Pitt is Will and Matt Damon is Bill.
Reasons to Dance
Mumble: "But there are plenty of reasons to dance."
Erik: "What's mine pa?"
Mumble: "The only way to find out, is to try it. Come on son. Let's shake this world!"
Erik should listen to his dad. Mumble has been there and done that. If anyone can help Erik gain the confidence he needs, it's Mumble.
Everybody Came
Mumble: "Ramon! It's incredible! Everybody came."
Ramon: "Except for that guy who stayed behind because he had the sniffles..."
(Penguin sneezes loudly in the background)
Ramon: "Oh, no, he's here."
More hilarity from Ramon. Really he needs to get the girl - he's funny!
If You Will It
The Mighty Sven: "If you want it, you must will it. If you will it, it will be yours."
Ah, The Mighty Sven (Hank Azaria) imparts his wisdom to young Erik. He just has to believe.
Cute, But Ruthless
Ramon: "Okay! Here's what we're going to do. We count to three. Push me on two..."
Penguins: "One....." (they push Ramon in)
Ramon: "Baby penguins - cute, but ruthless!"
It's almost impossible not to find these little baby penguins adorable - even if they're animated. Doesn't matter. Still. Cute.
Will's Will
Will the Krill: "So, this is the end. I better make my will. I, Will Williams, do hereby leave everything to my imagination. Oh, no! I have an imagination, the second sign of madness!"
Poor Will. He's a bit...high strung, isn't he? Nothing wrong with an imagination, little krill.
A Krillion
Will the Krill: "I'm one in a krillion!"
Any doubt that Will the Krill has the best lines in 'Happy Feet Two?' Didn't think so...
Shake a Tail Feather
Miss Viola: "Do you have a tail feather?"
Erik: "Yes, I have a tail feather!"
Miss Viola: "Then you shake it, my dear!"
What would a 'Happy Feet' movie be without tail feather shaking? That's right, kid, get those happy feet moving!

"The Purge" movie quotes follow the action in the science fiction thriller where all crime is allowed for 12 hours each year. James DeMonaco, who previously wrote films such as "Assault on Precinct 13" and "The Negotiator," wrote and directed the film. The film first premiered in May 2013 at the Stanley Film Festival before its United States release on June 7, 2013.
In "The Purge," the setting is the United States in the year 2022. The world is quite pleasant with an unemployment rate of only 1%, very little crime and with the vast majority of residents happy and healthy. To keep things running smoothly, the US Government organizes an annual purge on March 21 during which all crime is allowed and no emergency services are available for a 12-hour overnight period. The government encourages residents to use this time to commit any crime they wish, murder included, to get it out of their system so the remainder of the year can be prosperous. While many choose to steal and kill during that time, others, especially those wealthy enough to abstain, spend the purge period in the safety of their highly fortified homes.
During this specific purge, the Sandin family, father James (Ethan Hawke), mother Mary (Lena Headey), daughter Zoey (Adelaide Kane) and son Charlie (Max Burkholder), gathers in their secure home and wait out the madness. Their plan changes however when Charlie disengages their security system to allow a stranger (Edwin Hodge), who was pleading for help in the street, into their home. Not soon afterwards a hoard of masked men and women and their leader Henry (Tony Oller), approach the Sandin home in search of the stranger, their target to kill during the purge. The Sandins are then tasked with deciding between breaking their personal morals and giving up the stranger or potentially becoming a victim themselves if they choose to try to keep everyone safe.
If "The Purge" doesn't interest you, there are many other movies playing at the same time including "The Internship," "After Earth," "Fast and Furious 6," "The Hangover Part III," "The Great Gatsby," "The Big Wedding," "Oblivion," "Scary Movie 5," "Evil Dead," "Jurassic Park 3D," "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," "Olympus Has Fallen," "Admission," "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," "Emperor," "Dead Man Down," and "Oz: The Great and Powerful."
The Purge Movie Quotes,
They Can't Get In, Right?
Mary: "They can't get in here, right? They can't get into our home."
Mary seeks reassurance that they are indeed safe in their fortified home. They've successfully waited out the purge from the comfort of their home in the past but never before has that involved a gang of masked men and women who tried to break in either.
Tonight Allows People a Release
James: "Tonight allows people a release for all the hatred and violence that they keep up inside them."
Charlie: "Why don't you guys kill someone tonight?"
James: "Because we don't feel the need to, Charlie."
Mary: "Just remember all the good the purge does."
James: "We can afford protection so we'll be fine just like always, okay?"
Just prior to the annual purge, parents James and Mary sit down to discuss the situation with children Zoey and Charlie. James explains that while they could go out and kill during that free period, they have no desire to do so and instead can stay in the safety of their home until it's over.
This Way!
Stranger: "Help me! Someone, please! Help me! I just need to get somewhere safe! Can anybody hear me?"
Charlie: "Let's go. This way!"
James: "Charlie, no!"
Charlie: "This way! Hurry!"
Hearing a man yelling for help outside their home, young boy Charlie disengages the home's security system to allow the man to enter their home for safety. Once father James realizes what's happening, he reengages the security system but not before the stranger safely enters the home.
Give Him to Us
Henry: "Our target for this year's purge is hiding in your home. You have one hour to find him and give him to us or we will kill all of you. We will be coming in."
The Sandin family gets a visitor at their door, a young blonde man in a suit. This is no salesman or anyone along on a peaceful visit but rather the leader of a group looking to kill the man the Sandin family is harboring in their home.
Everything's Gonna Be Okay
James: "We're gonna make it through tonight and everything's gonna be okay."
Zoey: "Nothing is ever going to be okay again."
Father James tries to settle Zoey down after she becomes frightened by the events of the purge. He tries to tell her all will be well in the end but Zoey already recognizes the permanent harm the event has done.
Suspended for 12 Hours
Emergency Broadcast System: "This is the Emergency Broadcast System announcing the commencement of the annual purge. At the siren, all emergency services will be suspended for 12 hours. Your government thanks you for your participation."
The family watches and listens to the emergency alert on the television warning of the coming purge and how it works. The voice explains that during the 12-hours period there are no laws and there are no emergency services, but everyone is encouraged to get out in the world and work off some aggression while they can.
Why Did You Let Him In?
James: "Why did you let him in our home? We have no idea who's after him."
James scolds Charlie for his decision to allow the terrified stranger into their home. James stresses that Charlie did so without knowing what the consequences might be for all involved.

If you're looking for 'Captain America' movie quotes, you've come to the right place. This new Marvel movie is one of the better superhero films in recent years (yes, reviews were pretty good), and not surprisingly, it's highly quotable. If you missed this movie in theaters, you'll get a chance to see it on video soon: The 'Captain America' DVD was set for release on October 25, 2011. Don't see your favorite 'Captain America: The First Avenger' quote listed? Feel free to add it!
'Captain America: The First Avenger' stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, a man who volunteers for a super-secret military project that turns him into super soldier Captain America. Many of the 'Captain America' quotes come from Evans, as either Steve or, well, Captain America - but others come from Colonel Chester Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones), scientist Dr. Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Captain America's faithful friend and sidekick.
'Captain America' had a strong showing at the U.S. box office, taking in more than $65 million in its first weekend of release. The movie went on to gross well over $173 million (as of mid-September 2011). Definitely a hit!
If you're looking for more blockbuster movie quotes, check out these gems from 'Moneyball,' 'Contagion,' 'Conan the Barbarian,' 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', 'X-Men: First Class', 'Super 8' and 'Green Lantern!'
Captain America Movie Quotes,
It Works
Steve Rogers: (showing his shield to Peggy) "What do you think?"
(Peggy shoots the shield)
Peggy Carter: "Yes, I think it works."
Steve's choice of the prototype vibranium shield is clearly a good one. As Stark explains, it's the "rarest metal on Earth" and it's the only one. Does it work? Peggy quickly tests it - and yes, it does.
Something To Share
Col. Chester Phillips: (to Peggy Carter) "If you have something on your mind, now is the perfect time to keep it to yourself."
This is War
Steve Rogers: "I know you don't think I can do this..."
Bucky Barnes: "This isn't a backyard, Steve, it's a war!"
Oh Bucky, how can you doubt for a second that Steve/Cap knows VERY well that this isn't his Brooklyn backyard? He's keenly aware of the danger.
Still Skinny
Col. Chester Phillips: "He's still skinny."
Col. Phillips isn't happy with Dr. Erskine's decision to turn Steve Rogers into a so-called super soldier. But when Phillips throws a fake grenade at the men who are training. Rogers doesn't hesitate, he throws himself onto the grenade, asking, "This is a test?" That prompts Phillips' "still skinny" comment.
Wars Are Won By Men
Col. Chester Phillips: "General Patton has said that wars are fought with weapons but they are won by men. Our goal is to create the greatest army in history. But every army begins with one man. He will be the first in a new breed of super-soldier. We are going to win this war because we have the best men. And they, personally, will escort Adolf Hitler to the gates of Hell."
With this statement, Colonel Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) defines exactly what the plans are for Steve Rogers - he'll be the very first "super-soldier" and will, hopefully, allow the Army to successfully battle the Nazis.
A Good Man
Dr. Abraham Erskine: "Whatever happens, stay who you are...not just a soldier, but a good man."
Dr. Erskine (Stanley Tucci) believes in Steve Rogers, clearly. He knows that it's more than just the physical - it's the heart of the person that makes the soldier (even a superhero soldier).
I Punched Adolf Hitler
'Dum Dum' Dugan: "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
Captain America/Steve Rogers: "Yeah. I punched out Adolf Hitler 200 times."
Bathroom
Dr. Abraham Erskine: "Are you ready?"
Steve Rogers: "Is it too late to go to the bathroom?"
Yes Steve, it's too late. But we don't blame you, given what's happening.
Kid from Brooklyn
Red Skull: "What makes you so special?"
Steve Rogers: "Nothing. I'm just a kid from Brooklyn."
You are far more than "just a kid from Brooklyn," Steve Rogers, but interesting strategy, making your arch nemesis think you're just a regular guy. With a vibranium shield. And super powers.
Why Me?
Steve Rogers: "Why me?"
Dr. Abraham Erskine: "...because a weak man knows the value of strength, the value of power..."
With this one quote, Dr. Erskine explains to the doubting Steve that because he was once weak, he understands the responsibilities that come with great strength.

Pot Smoker: "Look, officer, this is…"
Ryan: "Oh, that's rippin.'"
Other Pot Smoker: "Thank you?"
Justin: "Daaaamn!"
When Ryan and Justin come upon some marijuana smokers, the kids think they are busted. Their shock and awe only continues when the "cops" toke up with them.

That's What You Get!
Radio Dispatcher: "All units, domestic disturbance in progress."
…
Justin: "Calm down, sir!"
Precious: "Excuse me?"
Ryan: "That's a ma'am."
Justin: "Oh"
Ryan: "You guys seem like two classy ladies. What's your name?"
Precious: "Precious"
JaQuandae: "She ain't that precious."
Ryan: "What is your real name?"
Ryan: "Yeah but like when you were born what did your…"
Justin: "Not your gang name or your stripper name"
Precious: "Precious"
Justin: "So, Precious, great name, why don't you tell us what's going on here."
Precious: "She trying to get with my man behind my back!"
Ryan: "I will be reading the part of DeAndre. You read JaQuandae. 'What are you doing?'"
Justin: "'Eating soup, tryin' to lose some weight and stuff'"
Ryan: "'Girl, you ain't got to lose s*** cause you fine as wine.'"
Justin: "'Look, DeAndre, don't be texting me again, okay?'"
Ryan: "You see?"
Justin: "'Unless you want to get them nuts up in my guys"
Ryan: "Control the situation!"
JaQuandae: "That's what you get!"
Ryan: "That's what you get."
Ryan and Justin respond to a call at a sorority house and things go from bad to worse. After some name confusion and role playing, both men find themselves on their backs and not in a good way.
One of Us Needs to Go Undercover
Ryan: "It's up to us to get this guy."
Justin: "It's gone way too far."
Ryan: "One of us needs to go undercover."
…
Justin: "I look like someone hit me in the face with Lil Wayne."
Ryan is determined to catch the mobster and makes a genius plan to do so. He just needs Justin to dress in a hilarious disguise and they'll be set.
This Is Super Illegal, Right?
Justin: "Where'd you get this thing?"
Ryan: "eBay, dude"
Justin: "This is super illegal, right?"
Ryan: "This… No, no… Well… Putting the lights on it kind of is. Then I went to Kinkos."
Justin: "Kinkos?"
Ryan: "Plastered it on myself."
Justin: "This is crazy, dude!"
Ryan: "This is some next-level s*** is what it is, Justin, some next-level s***."
…
Female Neighbor: "Isn't that the guy who took a s*** on our doorstep?"Male Neighbor: "He's a cop?"
Ryan takes their fake cop thing another step further by buying a police car on eBay and decking it out with lights and decals. Justin thinks it's pretty cool but does point out that they might be breaking the law just a bit.
We Could Go to Jail for Years for This
Justin: "We could go to jail for years for this."
Little Joey: "Who is this bitch?"
Justin: "I will slap the little afro off your head!"
Justin thinks they have taken the fake cop thing a bit too far. When a little kid calls him out on this lack of balls, he takes offense.
Six-Adam-seven
Officer Segars: "Six-Adam-seven, we got a code 30 at Crenshaw and Washington."
When Officer Segars gets a call, he enlists the help of what he thinks are two nearby cops, Ryan and Justin. Instantly, the two non-cops find themselves in real danger.
I Had No Idea That You Were a Cop
Josie: "I'm sorry. I had no idea that you were a cop."
Ryan: "She likes you, man."
Justin: "You don't mess with the law!"
Though she wouldn't give him the time of day before, now that Josie thinks Justin is a cop, suddenly she is interested. Justin is excited.
Great Talk!
Ryan: "Sack up and go talk to her, man!"
Justin: [clears his throat several times]
Josie: "You all right?"
Justin: "Yeah!"
Josie: "Great talk!"
Ryan: "That wasn't awkward at all."
As Ryan and Justin eat out, Ryan urges Justin to go talk to the cute waitress, Josie. Justin does, but their conversation lacks any meaningful substance.
They're Not LAPD
Mobster: "Their badge numbers don't add up. They're not LAPD."
Other Mobster: "So, what are they?"
Mobster: "Feds, ATF, maybe a special unit"
Ryan: [Listening to the conversation] "Yeah, we're special ops, dude!"
A mobster is surveilling Ryan and Justin, who are on his tail. In that instant, they go from fake cops to fake special forces.

"Identity Thief" movie quotes take viewers through a comical tale of what happens when an average joe takes it upon himself to track down a conniving woman who has stolen his identity. The comedy film was written by Craig Mazin and directed by Seth Gordon. "Identity Thief," originally titled "ID Theft," was released in theaters on February 8, 2013.
In "Identity Thief," Jason Bateman plays the victim Sandy Bigelow Patterson. When trying to fill his car with gas his credit card is declined and subsequently cut up for suspicious transactions. Upon calling his credit card company, which was not successful by the way, he's pulled over and learns that not only is something wrong with his credit card but he has warrants for his arrest too. A little detective work reveals that his identity has been stolen by a short woman named Diana (Melissa McCarthy). At first Sandy is relieved that this can easily be sorted out but then upset to learn the cops won't pull this woman in and fix it all.
So Sandy sets out to find this woman and bring her back to Colorado to face the music. This is easier said than done, especially as Diana will take every opportunity to lose Sandy. But it gets worse. Not only is Sandy looking for Diana but so are others, including those highly dangerous and out for blood. Genesis Rodriguez, Amanda Peet, Maggie Elizabeth Jones, T.I., Jon Favreau, Morris Chestnut and Eric Stonestreet also appear in the film.
If "Identity Thief" is not quite your style, there are plenty of other great movies in theaters such as "Django Unchained," "Killing Them Softly," "Hitchcock," "Skyfall," "Lincoln," "Flight," "Playing for Keeps," "Silver Linings Playbook," "Anna Karenina," "This Must Be the Place," "Cloud Atlas," "Wreck-It Ralph," "Nobody Walks," "The Sessions," "Red Dawn," "Chasing Mavericks," "Rise of the Guardians," "Argo," and "Looper."
Identity Thief Movie Quotes,
What Are You?
Sandy: "Come with me to Denver and I won't press charges. You're going to love it. There's no one shooting at you there."
Diana: "You got nothing!"
Sandy: [runs after Diana, easily passing her] "I can do this all day with you."
Diana: "What are you, a Kenyan?"
Diana tries to run away from Sandy but Sandy shows real quickly that he can not only keep up with her, but outrun her. It helps that she is winded after running 20 feet.
The Rental Car
[Sandy runs Diana's van off the road causing it to roll]
Sandy: "Oh, thank god, you're all right though, huh?"
Diana: "Yeah, the rental car doesn't even have a scratch on it."
Sandy: "Woo, that's great news. The car is fine. What's more important…"
[Semi-truck smashes the rental car]
Diana: "Oh, you should have put your hazards on."
When Sandy runs Diana's van off the road causing it to roll, he feels bad. He's even more relieved that his rental car was not damaged, well it wasn't damaged until a truck came along and changed that.
I Pick the Easy Way
Sandy: "We're gonna have a little chat."
Diana: "Okay"
Sandy: "We can do it the hard way or the easy way."
Diana: "I'd like to pick the easy way."
Sandy: "Get over here and give me your wrists."
Diana: "Okay"
Sandy: "Now I have a plan…"
[Diana attacks Sandy]
Sandy tracks down Diana again and tries to once and for all get her in his custody. She agrees at first but that was only a ploy to get Sandy close enough to strike him.
Why Don't We Swap Information
Diana: "Ugh, my neck!"
Sandy: "Neck hurts, huh? Why don't we swap information, Sandy Bigelow Patterson. Bigelow's such a rare name."
Diana: "It's a family name. Jeremiah Bigelow was a pretty well known bear hunter."
Sandy: "He sounds brave. Here's my driver's license with my name, Sandy Bigelow Patterson. Gotcha!"
When Sandy rams his car into Diana's, Diana sees that as an opportunity to earn some quick cash by faking an injury. Too bad that man responsible for the crash is the person whose identity Diana stole.
She's Like a Hobbit
Sandy: "Look at her. That number right there's her height. She's like a Hobbit. I can handle her. I'm going after Bilbo."
Trish: "This is crazy. You don't chase criminals. You're not Batman."
Sandy's wift, Trish, tries to talk him out of traveling across the country to track down the identity thief but Sandy isn't swayed. He sees her as a short little unthreatening being, like a Hobbit.
The Person Who Stole Your Identity
Detective Reilly: "Mr. Patterson, you missed your court date in Florida three days ago."
Sandy: "I've never even been to Florida."
Detective Reilly: "Pull a mugshot."
Sandy: "Who the hell is this?"
Detective Reilly: "If I had to guess this is the person who stole your identity."
Sandy: Oh boy, he's a… Is that a woman? What do you do now? You go down and you go get her?"
Detective Reilly: "Oh no, she'd have to be standing right here to do you any good."
Sandy: "That's the new standard of police work? What if I go down to Florida and bring her back here? You would have to clear my name, right?"
As if it was not upsetting enough to learn that a man, erm, woman stole his identity, Sandy is upset to find out that the police are not hot on the trail to finding this thief and arresting her.
I'm in Colorado
Sandy: [to his credit card company] "Exceeded the credit limit?! I used the card for coffee and gas. Florida?! Raytheon Water Sports? Never heard of it. I'm in Colorado. We don't have beaches, you know? We're landlocked."
Sandy tries to explain to the customer service representative at his credit card company that those charges in Florida for water sports were not his. For this, a short geography lesson is necessary.
I Gotta Cut the Card
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "When that comes up we gotta cut the card."
Sandy: "Swipe it one more time. Nothing wrong with that card."
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "I gotta cut the card."
Sandy: "Don't cut the card! Put the scissors down!"
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "It says we gotta cut the card, you don't pay your bills."
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "Go pay your bills, Randy."
Sandy: "It's Sandy"
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "Sandy?" [trash talks Sandy in Spanish]
Sandy: "I bet that was hurtful, wasn't it?"
Luis the Gas Station Attendant: "Oh, hurtful, hurtful!"
When his credit card is declined when Sandy is trying to pump gas, this is the first sign that something is amiss. The trash talk from the gas station attendant is certainly not adding to that either.
Big Chuck
Diana: "Oh hey!"
Sandy: "You're here five minutes and you've already found a friend, huh?"
Big Chuck: "This must be Walter"
Diana: "Walter!"
Big Chuck: "Howdy there, I'm Big Chuck. I gotta tell you, this little Margie is quite a lady."
Sandy: "Oh, Margie…"
Big Chuck: "Sit your ass down, drinks are on me."
Sandy: "No, no, I can't. I wish I could."
Big Chuck: "Stu's going to set you up. Stu, let's get Walt a round."
Sandy: "Never mind, Stu. Honey, gotta get you out of here."
Diana: "Here's the thing: I don't want to go."
Sandy: "But it's super late and we gotta get all the way to St. Louis tomorrow so…"
Diana: "I think we got a good one."
Sandy: "What is that?"
Diana: "I think we got a good one. Look, I'm going to tell you what's going on. Walt likes to watch. Walt's a watcher."
Sandy: "No"
Diana has a great idea to get Sandy off her trail. She knows Sandy won't leave eye sight from her so she finds something that he definitely won't want to watch, her getting it on with a random bar man.
We Need Her More Than You Do
Marisol: "We need her more than you do. Better luck next time, old man.
As it turns out, Sandy is far from the only one looking for Diana. Marisol too is looking for her and is ready to be much more violent in her efforts than Sandy.

'Project X' movie quotes include the best, most memorable dialogue in this 2012 comedy film, which tells the tale of three high school friends who throw a party. Somehow, the party goes from okay, to amazing, as more and more people find out about it. The bash gets totally out of control, not unexpectedly. Ever been to one of these kinds of parties? Yeah, they get chaotic really quickly. This list features the greatest quotes from the 'Project X' movie, so be sure to vote for your favorites. And, if you've seen the film and you don't see your favorite quote listed, add it.
'Project X' is produced by Todd Phillips ('The Hangover') and marks the directorial debut of Nima Nourizadeh. The movie stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper and Jonathan Daniel Brown as Thomas, Costa and JB: the trio of friends who decide to throw a high school senior party. 'Project X' is a 'found footage' film, meaning all of the action is basically seen through the eyes of someone with a video camera. Oh, and the super-hot Alexis Knapp is also in the movie, playing...a super-hot high school girl that Thomas is totally trying to impress. So there's that.
If you're interested in other great movie quotes, check out these lists for the best lines from 'Chronicle,' 'The Lorax,' 'Wanderlust,' 'The Sitter,' 'The Secret World of Arrietty,' 'Super 8,' 'The Woman in Black,' 'The Muppets,' 'Hugo,' 'Arthur Christmas,' 'Immortals,' 'Moneyball,' 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', 'X-Men: First Class,' 'Cowboys & Aliens' 'Jack and Jill,' 'Happy Feet Two,' 'Tower Heist,' 'The Rum Diary,' and 'Captain America: The First Avenger.'
Project X Movie Quotes,
On YouTube
Party Girl: "Maybe I'll post it on YouTube."
Thomas: "No no, don't...don't...don't..."
No, really, don't. Don't post video of Thomas' house-wrecking party on YouTube. It'll wind up on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' or something.
Nobody's Going to See This
Costa: "We'll have a whole day to fix this place up like new."
Thomas: "What about this?" (points to the camera) "What if my parents see it?"
Costa: "Nobody's going to see this but us, I promise."
Jimmy Kimmel (on his show): "So you know, this high school party in Pasadena -- have you seen the footage?"
Really, if you're going to do something this big, don't tape it. Just don't. And yeah, mom and dad are definitely going to see it. Especially because well, their house is ON FIRE.
All Good
Thomas (answers phone): "Hello?"
Thomas' Dad: "Thomas?"
Thomas: "Dad, hey."
Thomas' Dad: "Well we just wanted to call one last time before going to bed, to make sure you were set for the night."
Thomas: "Yep. All good. Um, I'm actually about to go to sleep right now, so..."
There's always that 'checking in' call from the parentals when you're throwing a killer party. In Thomas' case, he's pretty desperate to keep dad from finding out just how crazy things are getting.
Changing the Game
Costa: "Tonight's about the girls we never had a shot at. Tonight's about changing the game."
Costa explains to Thomas that if they want to get the girls, they've got to change the game. Safe bet this party changes the game.
Little Guy
Costa: "There's a little guy in the oven!"
JB: "Think about it: Our balls are where his eyes are..."
Every truly great party needs a "little guy in the oven."
Game Changing
Thomas: "Is this big enough to be cool?"
Costa: "Game changing."
Yep, a high school house party like this one is definitely enough to be cool - and then some. Particularly when there's total destruction of property involved.
Working on Diabetes
Thomas: "What are you looking for?"
JB: "Condoms. I'm working on something downstairs."
Costa: "The only thing you're working on is diabetes you fat f**k."
JB is a slightly overweight teen who is determined to get laid at this high school house party. And Costa is a bit of a smart a**.
Out of Control
Thomas: "Mom, dad, it's me, Thomas. Um, where do I start? This is supposed to be a small get-together. I wanted to be cool for one night. You know, I wanted girls to notice me. Then things got a little out of control."
A little out of control, Thomas? Seriously? At one point, your house catches on fire. That's way beyond the usual house party (even the wilder ones).

Nazi-Killin' Business
Lt. Aldo Raine: You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'.
In Good Hands
Col. Hans Landa: You've had a nice long run, Aldo. Alas, you're now in the hands of the SS.

Col. Hans Landa: Caught you flinching.
By All Means
Lt. Archie Hicox: Well, if this is it, old boy, I hope you don't mind I go out speaking the king's?
Major Dieter Hellstrom: By all means, Captain.
Lt. Archie Hicox: There's a special rung in hell reserved for people who waste good scotch. And seeing as I might be rapping on the door momentarily...
Lt. Archie Hicox: I must say, damned good stuff, sir.
Lt. Archie Hicox: Now, about this pickle we find ourselves in...
The Bear Jew
Adolf Hitler: Kliest!
Kliest: Ja, mein Führer?
Adolf Hitler: I have an order I want relayed to all German soldiers stationed in France. The Jew degenerate known as the Bear Jew henceforth is never to be referred to as the Bear Jew again. Did you get that, Kliest?
Kliest: Ja, mein Führer.

She was fired from her fast food job, crashes her crappy car and finds out that her husband, Greg (Nat Faxon), is cheating on her with neighbor Missi (Toni Colette). With few good options, she robs her former employer then hits the road with her quirky grandmother, Pearl (Susan Sarandon).
En route to Niagara Falls, a place Pearl always wanted to visit, the two somehow find time to bond with Pearl coming in as an unlikely life coach for the lost in life Tammy. As her past catches up with her, Tammy is forced to face her life head on and decide whether she will continue her downward spiral or move forward in a positive manner.

Tammy Movie Quotes,
You Do Know Who Mark Twain Is, Right?
Tammy: "Mark Twan National Forest"
Pearl: "You do know who Mark Twain is, right?"
Tammy: "Good guy, he is a good guy!"
Despite pronouncing his name incorrectly, Tammy swears that she knows who Mark Twain is. She's not fooling anyone.
I'm Un-Robbing You
Pearl: "Here, just throw the money through the window and we'll get out of here."
Tammy: "I'm un-robbing you! I'm giving it back!"
Kathleen: "Oh my god, there's two of them!"
Becky: "We're going to need more pies!"
In attempt to wrong her right, Tammy tries to "un-rob" the fast food restaurant and give the money back. That plan doesn't quite go as she intended.
Terminating Your Employment
Keith Morgan: "Tammy, I am terminating your employment. I need your badge."
Tammy: "You mean my name tag? … Enjoy the special sauce!"
One event that sets off the chain of events to follow is Tammy's firing from her fast food job. She does not, however, go quietly.
You're at a Crossroads
Pearl: "You're at a crossroads. You could change your life."
Actually offering solid advice for once, Pearl encourages Tammy that she has the opportunity to turn her life around. Will Tammy take the hint?
Green Light!
Tammy: "Where's your wife tonight?"
Bobby: "I'm not married."
Tammy: "Green light!"
When Tammy learns that new friend Bobby is not married, she sees this as an invitation to make out with him. Bobby on the other hand isn't exactly welcoming to the idea.
There Was a Bee!
Cop: "You're going to have to come with us. Let's go."
Tammy: "Oh, come on, man!"
Cop: "Let's go!"
[Tammy starts to run, slowly]
Cop: "Ma'am, are you serious?"
Tammy: "Ow! There was a bee!"
Cop: "There's no bees here, ma'am."
Tammy: "There was a bee."
Tammy unsuccessfully attempts to flee when the cops come for her following her robbery of her former employer. When her escape is foiled, she claims she was only running from a bee.
Watched Neil Armstrong Walk On the Moon
Tammy: "America, huh? What have you ever done that's that cool?"
Pearl: "I've watched Neil Armstrong walk on the moon."
Tammy: "On his bike?"
Pearl: "Neil"
It's moments like this that it's hard to feel sorry for Tammy. Her lack of understanding of basic history is scary, not that Pearl is really helping.
Give Me Some Pies
Tammy: "Freeze! Nobody move! Shoot! Don't move!"
Becky: "Okay"
Tammy: "Dang it! Don't even think about it! You need to put all the cash in a bag. You, give me some pies. Give me some of the good pies."
Becky: "That's your finger there…"
Tammy: "Is it?! I wouldn't get sassy. Is this is? It seems really, really light."
Larry: "You like apple?"
Tammy: "I do like apple… I don't want to have to choose."
Becky: "Choose Larry."
Tammy: "Larry, she's telling me to take you out."
Larry: "I'm a veteran."
Tammy: "That's amazing."
Becky: "Yeah"
Tammy: "I want to thank you for that."
Down on her luck, Tammy returns to one place where she was recently wronged, her old work at a local burger fast food restaurant. She ungracefully robs the place, pies and all.
You're Pregnant
Tammy: "Grandma, I don't know where I'm going."
Pearl: "I've always wanted to go to Niagara Falls. How about a beer?"
Tammy: "No"
Pearl: "Whiskey?"
Tammy: "No"
Pearl: "Oh my god, you're pregnant!"
Tammy: "I'm driving a car!"
Tammy hits the road with grandma Pearl, who is shocked that she isn't interested in drinking alcohol while driving. This leads Pearl to the only conclusion she can make, that Tammy is pregnant.
I'm Like a Cheeto
Tammy: "I'm like a Cheeto, you can't eat just one."
Bobby: "That's Lay's Potato Chips."
Tammy: "Not for me. I love a Cheeto."
Tammy describes herself as a Cheeto, something clearly irresistible. Though Bobby understands that saying more in relation to another snack food, Tammy assures him that she is a Cheeto, not a Lay's Potato Chip.

'The Watch' movie quotes include the funniest lines from this 2012 comedy movie starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill. In the film, this group of suburban neighbors decide that they'll form a neighborhood watch group to keep an eye on things (and get out of the house once in a while). Things take a hilarious turn when they're forced to defend the neighborhood from alien invaders. See a favorite quote from 'The Watch' listed? Vote for it! And if your favorite Watch movie quote isn't listed, add it.
Things are kind of boring in suburbia for Evan (Stiller), Franklin (Hill), Bob (Vaughn) and Jamarcus (Richard Ayoade). Nothing interesting ever seems to happen. To get out of the house, these guys decide that once every week, they'll patrol the neighborhood to keep things safe and quiet. At first, everything's fine. Then? The Watch Movie Quotes,
Stay Out of My Room
Franklin's Mom: "Franklin, what are you doing? Who are these people?"
Franklin: "D**n it mom, stay out of my room!" (whispers) "Sorry...I was trying to impress my friends, I was trying to be a big man. I love you."
Poor Franklin. He decides to join Evan's neighborhood watch group after he's rejected from the local police department. He also still lives with his mom. Emotional issues -- definitely emotional issues.
Look at Me
Franklin: "Look at his face."
Evan: "Look at my face."
Franklin: "Look at his face and listen to me."
Evan: "Look at him and listen to me."
Franklin: "Look at me."
Evan: "Look at me."
Franklin: "Look at him and understand me...Look at both of us but understand no one. Listen to my words and hear his face."
Who is an alien and who isn't? Could a harmless-looking kid be harboring a secret? It's up to the neighborhood watch guys to interrogate him and find out. But first, he needs to hear Evan's face...
The Ball
Evan: "Nobody touches this ball until we figure out what it is." (guys aim the ball at a cow and fire, cow explodes)
Bob: "Whoa! Jesus! That's terrible for the cow but this thing is f**king awesome!"
The watch members make a shocking discovery: A strange ball or orb that emits an eerie light. What do they do? They aim it at the nearest farm animal and fire away. Poor cow...
Kid's Choice
Evan (looks at green alien goo): "What a second I've seen this stuff before..."
Franklin: "Have you just won a Nickelodeon Kid's Choice award?"
What is the strange, green goo that the guys just discovered? It's definitely alien-related, though as Franklin points out, it could be Nickelodeon's green slime. Probably not. This is not a family comedy...
Flavor Snout
Evan: "Check her out. It's like she's studying some new discovery, some bizarre, human, circle fruit." (Elderly woman sniffs a grapefruit) "Should I put it in my flavor snout?"
The guys quickly realize that aliens might be living among them in suburbia. They decide they'll try to figure out their identities by studying them. And where is the best place to study suburbanites? That's right: Costco!
Two Hands
Bob: "Motherf**ker, that's the kid that's all over Chelsea's Facebook page." ("Kid" is buying condoms) "Magnums? There's no way your d**k is that big."
Evan: "Hey, hey, hey, hey!!"
Franklin: "Some people's d**ks are that big."
Evan: "He's right, they're a big seller."
Jamarcus: "A lot of people have big d**ks, Bob."
Bob: "I swear to God, I'm going to rip his d**k off."
Franklin: "You're going to need two hands, Bob."
Bob has issues with his teen daughter dating. It's one of the reasons he decides to join the neighborhood watch. When he spots a guy he thinks might be into his daughter buying condoms, he (understandably) goes ballistic.
Local Orgy
Evan: "If that alien hive turns out to be a local orgy..."
Franklin: "There's an orgy happening? Locally?"
Are the aliens in Evan's neighborhood having orgies? Yes. Yes, they are, and Franklin's totally down with that. Clearly, he doesn't get much action.
F**k You, Curly
Neighbor: "What are you doing in my yard?!"
Evan: "We're the neighborhood watch. We're just wondering if you heard anything strange..."
Neighbor: "Why don't you just shut your c**ksucker there d**kweed." (Readies rifle, guys leave)
Jamarcus: "Nice to meet you!"
Neighbor: "F**k you, curly!"
If the neighbor in this clip looks familiar, he should: That's veteran actor R. Lee Ermey, aka Sgt. Hartman from 1987's 'Full Metal Jacket.' And he's not happy about the guys being on his property. And he's armed. Time to leave.

But with Amanda's new family, going back to that life with Dawson isn't quite that simple.
"The Best of Me" brings some romance to theaters already filled with other great movies including "St. Vincent," "Pride," "Good People," "The Boxtrolls," "This is Where I Leave You," "The Skeleton Twins," and "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby."
The Best of Me Movie Quotes,
It's Going to End Right Now
Harvey Collier: "I just want what's best for my daughter so it's going to end right now."
…
Young Dawson: "I can't have you getting hurt."
Young Amanda: "Do you want this? Do you want me?"
Young Dawson: "I do."
…
Evelyn: "Bad things happen when you hang around bad people."
Young Amanda: "He was trying to protect me!"
Amanda's father, Harvey, tells Dawson to stay away from her. When he doesn't submit to this demand, the choice is made for both him and Amanda.
If This Was the Last Time You Were Going to See Me
Young Dawson: "If this was the last time you were going to see me, what would you say?"
Young Amanda: "Please don't do this. Dawson! Dawson!"
Meeting while Dawson is behind bars, Dawson makes the choice to separate himself from Amanda for good. He knows that she has big life aspirations and doesn't want to hold her back.
You Couldn't Have Gotten Bald or Fat or Something?
Amanda: "This is dangerous. You have gotten better looking. You couldn't have gotten bald or fat or something? Geez."
Dawson: "I miss this."
Amanda reflects on how if Dawson had let himself go, rather than become better looking, things would be easier. Alas, Dawson looks better than ever which makes reuniting with him a sticky situation.
It's Been a Long Time
Dawson: "Amanda"
Amanda: "Dawson"
Dawson: "I'm sorry, I'm all messed up."
Amanda: "How did you find out?"
Dawson: "I got a call from a lawyer, something in Tuck's will. I'm supposed to meet with him tomorrow."
Amanda: "10 am?"
Dawson: "Yeah"
Amanda: "Yeah, me too"
Dawson: "It's been a long time."
Amanda: "20 years"
Dawson: "21, but, I mean, who's counting? You look amazing."
Amanda: "I gotta go. I'm late. I'm meeting my mom. I'm going to meet her at her house."
Dawson: "Oh, all right"
Amanda: "Good to see you"
Dawson: "Yeah, you too"
Dawson and Amanda see each other for the first time in over two decades. While it is a bit awkward, especially under the circumstances of the death of a mutual friend, there is a lingering spark between them.
A Lot of Things Have Changed Since I Last Saw You
Amanda: "A lot of things have changed since I last saw you. I don't know what happened."
Dawson: Life"
…
Dawson: "There was so much you wanted to do."
Amanda: "I wanted to it with you! I blame you for thinkin' you knew what was best for me when it was you that was best for me."
Amanda and Dawson need to work some things out. She feels resentment for him deciding what he thought was best for her, when she believed that being with him was that best choice.
You Are the Very Best of Me
Dawson: "You weren't just someone I loved back then, you are the very best of me."
Dawson tries to explain to Amanda just how much she means to him. While it may have seemed otherwise with his decisions many years ago, he now realizes just how much he loves her.
You Don't Know How to Flirt, Do You, Dawson?
Young Amanda: "You don't know how to flirt, do you, Dawson?"
Young Dawson: "I guess I blew it the other day."
Young Amanda: "You did. Well, what are you going to do about it?"
The young Dawson and Amanda flirt, though admittedly not well, with each other. Little do they know then just how big of a connection they will have later in life.
I'm Not Going to Lose You Again
Dawson: "I lost you once. I'm not going to lose you again."
Dawson knows what he had and what he lost. He does not want to make that same mistake again.
Everything That Happens, Happens for a Reason
Amanda: "Someone once said, 'it is not in the stars to hold our destiny, but in ourselves.' But I believe everything that happens, happens for a reason."
Amanda weighs in on her opinion of destiny noting that while she doesn't fully give into either side of the argument, she does think things happen for a reason, including her reuniting with Dawson.
Is There Anyone That You Want to Call?
Doctor: "It's a miracle that you're alive, Dawson. Is there anyone that you want to call?"
After an accident at work sends Dawson to the hospital, the doctor asks if there is anyone they should notify. Dawson can think of only one person.

"Pain & Gain" movie quotes provide the humorous dialogue in the action-comedy movie about a group of bodybuilders who attempt extortion. Based on the real life story chronicled in the Miami New Times and a book of the same name by Pete Collins, the film was adapted into a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Directed by Michael Bay, "Pain & Gain" opened in United States theaters on April 26, 2013.
In "Pain & Gain," Daniel Lugo (Mark Wahlberg) is a hardworking and determined bodybuilder at the Sun Gym in Florida. He is unsatisfied with his life and aspires to be richer and more successful but is discouraged by watching others, many who cheat to get where they are, passing him by. However when one of his training clients, Victor Kershaw (Tony Shalhoub), reveals that he has extensive wealth, Daniel gets an idea on how to steal it.
Daniel enlists Adrian Doorbal (Anthony Mackie), a friend from the gym who is also dealing with the side effects of steroid use, and Paul Doyle (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), a new member of the gym who was recently released from prison, to help with his plan. They plan to kidnap Victor, extort his money then everyone can go on with their normal lives. It sounds great on paper but when it comes to execution, the trio prove their lack of crime experience and several things go wrong. It gets even worse when Detective Ed Du Bois (Ed Harris) is tasked with finding out who was responsible for the abomination of the extortion putting Daniel, Paul and Adrian's freedom at jeopardy. Rebel Wilson, Rob Corddry and Ken Jeong co-star in the film.
"Pain & Gain" joins a movie season already full of other great films such as "The Big Wedding," "Oblivion," "Scary Movie 5," "Evil Dead," "Jurassic Park 3D," "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," "Olympus Has Fallen," "Admission," "The Incredible Burt Wonderstone," "Emperor," "Dead Man Down," "Oz: The Great and Powerful," "Stoker," "A Good Day to Die Hard," "Side Effects," and "Identity Thief."
Pain & Gain Movie Quotes,
You Said No Violence
Paul Doyle: "You said no violence."
Daniel Lugo: "And I meant it when I said it. I swear to god."
Paul Doyle: "I cannot kill!"
Daniel Lugo: "Duly noted. Look, when this is over, we'll all go camping. All right?"
Paul Doyle: "Okay"
Paul, being the voice of reason once again, is disturbed that the heist ended quite violently, against the plan. He is however settled down when Daniel promises they all go camping to unwind when everything is said and done.
Nobody Gets Hurt, Right?
Paul Doyle: "We go through with this, nobody gets hurt, right?"
Daniel Lugo: "No, man, we snatch him, we grab him, he signs a few signatures, we give him a protein shake. He won't even know what happened. I've watched a lot of movies, Paul. I know what I'm doing."
Always worrying about doing the right thing, Paul wants reassurance that this operation will not involve violence. Daniel responds by mentioning how many action movies he's seen and how that makes him an expert of heists like this.
We Can't Just Kidnap a Guy and Take His Things
Paul Doyle: "You just can't kidnap a guy and take his things. That's so illegal."
Daniel Lugo: "We're sure we can. Victor Kershaw is a criminal prick who deserves bad stuff to happen to him."
Paul tries to be the voice of reason when Daniel explains his plan to steal from Victor. Daniel however justifies his actions in a Robin Hood, steal from the rich to give to the poor, type of way.
Using Steroids
Ramona Eldridge: "Mr. Doorbal, are you currently using steroids?"
Adrian Doorbal: "No, ma'am"
Ramona Eldridge: "When's the last time you injected?"
Adrian Doorbal: "Monday"
Ramona Eldridge: "Yesterday"
Adrian Doorbal: "I threw them all out. I think they messed me up."
Ramona Eldridge: "It's okay. You probably just have defeated fella syndrome. We like treat it here all the time. But don't worry, we can change all that. It's what we specialize in here… Penis magic." [winks]
Adrian visits a specialist to deal with the effects of taking steroids to bulk up. He has concerns about his man parts but the nurse reassures him that everything will be fine, plus gives him a wink.
I've Got a Plan
Daniel Lugo: "I'm hot. I'm big"
[Sees cops approaching and runs]
Daniel Lugo: "My name is Daniel Lugo and I believe in fitness. All this began because it was time to push myself harder. Otherwise I was looking at another 40 years of wearing sweatpants to work. I've got a plan to change that. My name is Daniel Lugo and I believe in the American dream because if you're willing to do the work, you can have anything."
Daniel Lugo, the main character of the film, explains his reasoning for doing what he does. He wanted more for himself but was tired of being eclipsed by people who cheated their way to the top. He wanted success and found a plan to make that happen.
Now I Go to Work
Detective Ed Du Bois: "The Sun Gym Gang has successfully acquired every asset you had."
Victor Kershaw: "What happens now?"
Detective Ed Du Bois: "Now I go to work."
Victor meets with Detective Du Bois after his fortune is stolen from him. Du Bois knows that the Sun Gym Gang, led by Daniel, is responsible and is ready to get even.
How Are You Fixed for a Job Now?
Daniel Lugo: "Where'd you do your time, pal?"
Paul Doyle: "Up north"
Daniel Lugo: "How are you fixed for a job now?"
Upon meeting Paul, a new member of their gym, Daniel makes friends with him and instantly has an idea. Daniel needs muscle for his grand plan and Paul seems like a great candidate to fill that role.
Tired of Being Where You Are
Adrian Doorbal: "What's going on, DL?"
Daniel Lugo: "You ever just get tired of being where you are, Adrian?"
Adrian Doorbal: "No, I kind of like it here. I mean, the weights are new…"
Daniel Lugo: "I mean in life, man."
Daniel, frustrated by where he is in life, asks Adrian if he too is tired of all of it. Adrian thinks Daniel is asking about the training facility, which he likes, but Daniel is looking at the bigger picture.
You Know Who Invented Salad?
Victor Kershaw: "I'm a self-made man. I made a lot of money."
Daniel Lugo: "Maybe your self to spend some of it on a salad."
Victor Kershaw: "You know who invented salad? Poor people."
While training Victor, Daniel learns that he is quite wealthy. Daniel also takes note of Victor's arrogance about the poor, which starts a chain of events that changes both of their lives forever.
An Honest Mistake
Paul Doyle: "Eagle is on the move. He's coming towards us."
Daniel Lugo: "Prepare to neutralize the target. Go, go, go, go, go! Get him! Get him! Did you get him?"
Paul Doyle: "He was right here? Where'd he go? You see him?"
Daniel Lugo: "Where the hell is he?"
Paul Doyle: "There he is!"
Daniel Lugo: "You got the wrong BMW!"
Paul Doyle: "It's two exact BMWs."
Daniel Lugo: "I told you to check the license plates!"
Paul Doyle: "It was an honest mistake!"
Adrian Doorbal: "We thought it was the same car. It looks exactly the same."
Daniel Lugo: "I can deal with his impotence. I cannot deal with your incompetence."
When Daniel, Paul and Adrian attempt to abduct Victor, their plan goes horrible (or hilariously) wrong. Despite Victor being not more than a dozen feet from them, they can't seem to locate him.

'The Iron Lady' movie quotes include some of the best lines from the 2012 biopic film about former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Meryl Streep plays the flawed and fierce Thatcher - a woman detested for her policies. Thatcher was uncompromising, and definitely not always popular with most, but she never wavered. This list includes fantastic dialogue in 'The Iron Lady' movie, but if you see an important quote that isn't listed, add it! Also, be sure to vote for your most (or least) favorite quotes.
Love her or hate her, there's no denying that Margaret Thatcher, aka 'The Iron Lady,' had an incredible impact on British politics. In the film, Jim Broadbent plays Thatcher's husband, Denis Thatcher. Meryl Streep's performance as Margaret Thatcher in 'The Iron Lady' has earned her major awards buzz. She was nominated for, and won, a Best Actress Golden Globe Award in 2012 and she earned an Academy Award Best Actress nomination for the role. In addition, Streep was also nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.
Looking for more great movie quotes? Check out these lists for the best quotes from 'The Rum Diary,' 'War Horse,' 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,' 'Hugo,' 'The Muppets,' 'Arthur Christmas,' 'Happy Feet 2,' 'Tower Heist,' 'Puss in Boots,' 'The Smurfs' movie, 'Cars 2' and 'Jack and Jill.'
The Iron Lady Movie Quotes,
Prosper
Margaret Thatcher: "There are those who would say 'hold back.' There are those who would make us retreat. But we shall never give in to them. We shall never waver -- not for a second -- in our determination to see this country prosper once again."
Over time, Margaret Thatcher worked on her speech delivery and became a powerful force to be reckoned with - she sounded decisive and not at all screechy. Meryl Streep's performance as Thatcher in 'The Iron Lady' earned her multiple award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
Principle
Margaret Thatcher: "We will stand on principle, or we will not stand at all."
The U.S. Secretary of State arrives to discuss the Falklands with Margaret Thatcher, wondering why she'd propose war for the islands that are miles away. Thatcher points out that it's "just like Hawaii in 1941," explaining that the U.S. didn't turn it's back on Hawaii even though the islands are thousands of miles from the mainland.
The Tone
Gordon Reece: "That hat has got to go - and the pearls. But the main thing is your voice. It's too high and it has no authority."
Margaret Thatcher: "I may be persueded to surrender the hat. The pearls, however, are absolutely non-negotiable. That's the tone that we want to strike."
Gordon Reece and others around Margaret are trying to, as he says, "make her look and sound" like the leader she could be. Image is everything in politics, and in Thatcher's case, she really didn't have a 'mold' to follow, being a female. She did, however, show a steely resolve to make herself heard (with the pearls on).
One's Life Must Matter
Margaret: "I will never be one of those women who stay silent on the arm of her husband. One's life must matter, Dennis."
Denis Thatcher: "That's why I want to marry you, my dear."
Denis Thatcher married chemist Margaret Roberts when she was already involved in politics: Margaret was a parlimentary candidate. She was ambitious and uncompromising, even then, qualities that attracted him - and, eventually, made their family life very difficult.
The Falkland Islands
Margaret Thatcher: "The Falkland Islands belong to Britain and I want them back!"
Thatcher's decision to send British ships (and a trio of nuclear submarines) to the Falkland Islands came after Argentina invaded the Islands in April of 1982. Thatcher was steadfast, and the result was a 74-day war known as the "Falklands War." Eventual success buoyed Thatcher's popularity and increased support for her Conservative party.
Watch Your Character
Margaret Thatcher: "Watch your thoughts, for they become words. Watch your words, for they become actions. Watch your actions, for they become...habits. Watch your habits, for they become your character. And watch your character, for it becomes your destiny! What we think we become. My father always said that, and I think I am fine."
Words to live by, to be sure. Thatcher's thoughts, words and actions inspired some, and enraged others. 'The Iron Lady' attempts to tell the story of her life, from more than just a political standpoint, as she rises to become one of the most influential women in history. The film also chronicles Thatcher's elderly decline, as she struggles with dementia and aging.
Great in Great Britain
Margaret Thatcher: "It's time to get up! It's time go to work! It's time to put the great, back into Great Britain!"
Margaret Thatcher was certainly polarizing and controversial, but she was also very charismatic. Here, she's using her charisma to motivate those around her.
Unsayable
Margaret Thatcher: "Someone must say the unsayable."
The film portrays Margaret Thatcher the politician, but also Thatcher the person - especially later in her life. It's quite clear that Thatcher sees herself as the person who is able to make tough decisions - right or wrong.
Withhold the Medicine
Margaret Thatcher: "Gentlemen, if we don’t cut spending we will be bankrupt. Yes, the medicine is harsh, but the patient requires it in order to live. Should we withhold the medicine? No. We are not wrong. We did not seek election and win in order to manage the decline of a great nation."
Here, Margaret Thatcher is showing, yet again, her staunch, uncompromising attitude: She's proposing extremely unpopular government spending cuts, and though she knows she'll face a huge backlash, she's unwilling to bend.
Meaning
Margaret Thatcher: "A person's life has to mean something."
Thatcher's life definitely means something. She's still the longest serving Prime Minister fo the UK of the 20th century.

“Unbroken” movie quotes tell the true story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic athlete who went on to survive a plane crash in the Pacific and a stay in a Japanese prisoner of war camp during World War II. The war drama film was directed by Angelina Jolie using a screenplay Joel and Ethan Coen, Richard LaGravenese and William Nicholson adapted from the non-fiction book “Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption” by Laura Hillenbrand. “Unbroken” opened in theaters in the United States on December 25, 2014.
In “Unbroken,” Louis Zamperini (C.J. Valleroy, young; Jack O'Connell, older) was quite the rebel as a child, getting into a fair amount of trouble at a young age. His brother Pete (John D'Leo, young; Alex Russell, older) stepped in to encourage him to train as a runner, something that later earned him a spot at the 1936 Olympics.
Zamperini went on to join the United States Army Air Forces and flew a B-24 Liberator bomber over the Pacific when it was shot down. He and his crew spent 47 days adrift before reaching land where they were captured by the Japanese Army and sent to a prisoner of war camp. At the camp, Zamperini was subject to torments from prison guard Mutsuhiro Watanabe (Miyavi) and pushed to incredible lengths both mentally and physically until the war ended. Throughout it all though, Zamperini persevered, remembering the words of his brother and of his faith, to get him through the unimaginable.
“Unbroken” is just one of many great films playing on Christmas 2014 including ”The Interview,” ”The Gambler,” ”The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” ”Annie,” ”Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb,” ”Mr. Turner,” "Life Partners," "Comet," "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1," and "Horrible Bosses 2.
Unbroken Movie Quotes,
If You Get Me Through This
Louis Zamperini: “If you get me through this, I swear, I’ll dedicate my whole life to you.”
In a moment of weakness, Louis turns to his faith to give him the strength to put up with the adversity he is facing.
Used to Think I Could Do Anything
Louis Zamperini: “My brother used to think that I could do anything, that I was better than I am.”
Russell Phillips: “Who says you’re not?”
Louis reflects on his support from his brother growing up and how he once felt invincible. He now doesn’t seem himself as that strong but Russell disagrees.
You Are Like Me
Mutsushiro Watanabe: “You are like me. We are both strong. I saw it in your eyes the first day. I thought, this man will be my friend, but, enemy of Japan.”
In an odd moment of humanity, Watanabe expresses how he and Louis are similar. While they might be friends, their allegiances to their countries during the war is vastly different.
If I Can Take It, I Can Make It
Louis Zamperini: “If I can take it, I can make it.”
In repeating words told to him by his brother when he was young, Louis reminds himself that dealing with life in a prisoner of war camp is partly a mental battle, one that if he can overcome, he can win.
A Moment of Pain is Worth a Lifetime of Glory
Pete Zamperini: “You keep going the way you’re going, you’ll end up as a bum on the street. You train. You fight harder than those other guys and you win. If you can take it, you can make it. You can do this, Lou, you just gotta believe you can. Pop does. Ma does. I do. Louie, a moment of pain is worth a lifetime of glory.”
Louie’s brother Pete offers him some incredibly wise advice. He pushes Louie to find his full potential and believe in himself. Pete was like a father figure to Louie and was instrumental in his success.
Light Will Always Follow Darkness
Priest: “However dark the night, however dim our hopes, the light will always follow darkness.”
As a young child, Louie listens to the words of his priest in church. It was words like this that helped him persevere during his tough times later in life.
Hello Mother, Father
Louis Zamperini: “Hello mother, father, this is your Louie talking. This will be the first time in two years that you’ve heard my voice. I am now interned at a Tokyo prisoner of war camp and I’m being treated as well as can be expected under wartime conditions.”
Given a statement to read, Louis speaks on radio in a message back to his parents and others in the United States. Louis isn’t eager to read what has been prepared for him but is not really in any position to refuse either.
This Man Must Be Taught Respect
Mutsushiro Watanabe: “This man must be taught respect. All the other prisoners must teach him this lesson… Harder! Harder!”
Louis Zamperini: “Hit me!”
Watanabe sees something in Louis that he tries to break, a failure to respect his captors. Despite having the other prisoners hit him repeatedly, Louis is not intimidated.
Who Is The Olympic Athlete?
Mutsushiro Watanabe: “Who is the Olympic athlete?”
[Hits Louis]
Mutsushiro Watanabe: “Don't look at me.”
Watanabe knows that there is an Olympic athlete among those at the Japanese prisoner of war camp and approaches Louis to intimidate him. Louis, however, is not shaken by the officer’s scare tactics.

'Red Tails' movie quotes are the most memorable lines from the 2012 film based on the real-life Tuskegee Airmen - a group of black fighter pilots who flew countless missions during World War II. George Lucas ('Star Wars') is the executive producer of the movie. Lucas has said that he's tried to bring this story to the big screen for more than two decades. If you see your favorite 'Red Tails' quote on the list, vote it up. And if your personal favorite quote from 'Red Tails' isn't on the list, by all means, add it!
In 'Red Tails,' members of the Tuskegee Airmen battle more than just Germany. They battle the U.S. military which was, during World War II, segregated. 'Red Tails' stars Cuba Gooding Jr. as Major Emanuelle Stance, Terrence Howard as Colonel A.J. Bullard, Bryan Cranston as Major William Mortamus amd Gerald McRaney as General Luntz. Under Bullard's command, Major Stance and others in the Tuskegee Airmen's heroic 332nd Fighter Group conduct some of the most dangerous combat air missions during the war.

Check out these lists for the best quotes from 'Underworld: Awakening,' 'The Rum Diary,' 'War Horse,' 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo,' 'The Iron Lady,' 'Hugo,' 'The Muppets,' 'Arthur Christmas,' 'Happy Feet 2,' 'Tower Heist,' 'Puss in Boots,' 'The Smurfs' movie, 'Cars 2' and 'Jack and Jill.'
Red Tails Movie Quotes,
Help Save Lives
General Luntz: "I can't afford the kind of losses my bombers have been suffering. Can you help save lives?"
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "If you get us new planes, we can help your boys."
Colonel A.J. Bullard (Terrence Howard) sees his chance: His Red Tails can protect the U.S. bombers - but only if they've got good enough planes to do it.
Right to Fight
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "We have a right to fight for our country, the same as every other American. We will not go away."
Colonel Bullard is absolutely correct. Every man has a right to fight for his country, no matter what. Bullard's tenacity helped to get the Red Tails their important, critical mission: Protecting groups of U.S. bombers from German war planes during combat missions.
Changing the Fight
General Luntz: "We need to change the way we fight. I need pilots who will put the bombers ahead of themeselves."
General Luntz (Gerald McRaney) realizes that something has got to give if his fighters are to win the war. The pilots who are willing to "put the bombers ahead of themselves" are the heroic, selfless Tuskegee Airmen.
Protect the Heavies
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "At all costs, you protect the heavies."
The Tuskegee Airmen, the 332nd Fighter Group, were known as the "Red Tails" because they painted the tails of their planes with a distinct red mark. The group often acted as a "net," above the U.S. bomber groups, to buffer and protect them in combat from the German war planes.
Last Plane, Last Bullet, Last Man
Joe 'Lightning' Little: "From the last plane, to the last bullet, to the last minute, to the last man, we fight!"
Airmen: "We fight!"
"We fight!" became the rallying cry of the Red Tails, who overcame seemingly insurmountable odds and adversity to help the U.S. win World War II.
We Fight
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "We count our victories by the bombers we get to their targets, by the husbands we return to their wives, by the fathers we give back to their children. To the last minute, to the last man we fight. We fight!"
Colonel A.J. Bullard managed to motivate his men to fight despite everything. He never gave up, and neither did they. The Airmen flew the most successful fighter plane missions in World War II.
We've Done It All
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "When we came under your command, Colonel, you stated very clearly that we would never find negroes who could pass the pilot's exam, make it through flight school, survive basic combat. We've done all of that."
Maj. William Mortamus: "I don't believe your boys have scored a single aerial kill."
Colonel A.J. Bullard: "It's damn hard to shoot down the enemy 100 miles behind the front lines."
Members of the famed Tuskegee Airmen faced great adversity, subjected to hardships and mistreatment by the U.S. military, even though they were willing to die for their country. Here, Colonel A.J. Bullard argues his point: That the Red Tails would have much more success if they were actually allowed to fly major combat missions.

'The Avengers' movie quotes include some of the best lines from this 2012 superhero action movie. In 'The Avengers,' S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) gathers together a group of "remarkable people" to take on the evil Loki (Tom Hiddleston), who is hell bent on destroying the world. Among them: Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner). Not surprisingly, 'The Avengers' movie is filled with excellent dialogue, including several great quotes from Tony Stark/Iron Man. See a favorite 'Avengers' quote? Vote it up! And, if you have a personal favorite that isn't listed, add it.
'The Avengers' is the long-awaited film written and directed by Joss Whedon. The movie, based on the classic Marvel comics series 'The Avengers,' brings together several of the world's most dangerous, and deadly, superheroes. In recent years, a number of the superheroes have had their own big screen films, including 'Thor,' 'Iron Man,' 'Hulk' and 'Captain America.' Together with help from master archer Hawkeye (aka Clint Barton) and spy Black Widow (aka Natasha Romanoff), this group must find a way to thwart the plans of Thor's delusional brother, Loki, who wants to rule the world.
If you're looking for more blockbuster movie quotes, check out these gems from 'Captain America,' 'The Cabin in the Woods,' 'The Hunger Games,' 'Chronicle,' '21 Jump Street,' 'The Three Stooges,' 'Wrath of the Titans,' 'John Carter,' 'Act of Valor,' 'Conan the Barbarian,' 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', 'X-Men: First Class', 'Super 8' and 'Green Lantern.'
The Avengers Movie Quotes,
Join Us
Thor: "Loki is beyond reason, but he's my brother! What are you asking me to do?"
Nick Fury: "I'm asking you to join us."
Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the god of thunder, is understandably hesitant when he learns that the group is going to try and wipe out his brother, Loki. Who can blame him for having some mixed feelings? Loki is obviously insane, but yeah, he's Thor's brother. Will Thor be able to do what is necessary to stop Loki's evil plans?
In the Middle of an Interrogation
Black Widow: "I'm in the middle of an interrogation, this moron is giving me everything."
Georgi Luchkov: "I don't give...everything..."
Black Widow: "Look, you can't pull me out of this right now..."
Agent Coulson: "Natasha, Barton's been compromised."
Black Widow: "Let me put you on hold..."
This is a clear example of how Natasha, the Black Widow, operates: Her oppontents often underestimate her, believing that with all of her beauty, she can't possibly be an assassin. They'd be wrong -- she's a formidable opponent, and not someone you want on your bad side.
Time Bomb
Bruce Banner: "We're not a team. We're a time bomb."
Dr. Banner has a point here, though to be fair, he might be the biggest "time bomb" of them all, given that he becomes a ginormous, deadly green Hulk if he gets upset...
Not Trained for This
Natasha Romanoff (to Hawkeye): "This is nothing we were ever trained for..."
Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson), is a brillaint S.H.I.E.L.D. spy brought into the group to fight alongside some of the world's most powerful superheroes -- and she holds her own. Natasha and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Clint Barton have been through a lot together over the years, but this latest threat is the worst yet.
Hulk Smashes Loki
Loki: "Enough! You are, all of you are beneath me! I am a god, you dull creature, and I will not be bullied by..." (Hulk grabs Loki, smashes him into the floor, a lot)
The Hulk: "Puny god."
Play Well With Others
Tony Stark: "No offense, but I don't play well with others."
Steve Rogers: "Big man, in a suit of armour... take that away, what are you?"
Tony Stark: "Uh...genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist."
Tony Stark, on an actual team? Hard to imagine, but in 'The Avengers,' that's exactly what happens. Can Tony/Iron Man help the group without taking over and/or making everyone else angry?
Earth's Mightiest Heroes
Loki: "What have I to fear?"
Tony Stark: "The Avengers. It's what we call ourselves, it's sort of like a team. Earth's mightiest heroes, that type of thing..."
Loki: "Yes, I've met them."
Tony Stark: "It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But let's do a head count, here: Your brother, the demi-god, a super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend, a man with breaktaking anger management issues, a couple of master assasins and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every single one of them."
Loki: "That was the plan."
Tony Stark: "Not a great plan. When they come, and they will, they'll come for you."
Loki: "I have an army."
Tony Stark: "We have a Hulk."
Loki might be greatly underestimating the power of the Avengers. Just in case he's unsure of what he's up against, Tony Stark gives him a little head count for good measure. Loki has definitely managed to make all of them angry, so he might want to watch out (Hulk>Loki's Army).
Enormous Green Rage Monster
Tony Stark: "Dr. Banner, your work is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster..."
Bruce Banner: "Thanks."
In 'The Avengers,' Mark Ruffalo is Dr. Bruce Banner, a normally mild-mannered scientist who becomes, as Tony so aptly puts it, an "enormous green rage monster" known as the Hulk when he's upset or angry. He's a bit of a loose cannon, and, understandably, he makes the other Avengers pretty nervous.
Group of Remarkable People
Nick Fury: "There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people, so when we needed them, they could fight the battles that we never could. It's called the Avengers Initiative."
When Nick Fury realizes that the world faces it's greatest threat yet, he decides to bring together all of the greatest superheroes he can find. Together, the Avengers Initiative has a chance to defeat all evil and save the world from near certain destruction.
We'll Avenge It
Tony Stark (to Loki): "There is no throne, there is no version of this where you come out on top! Maybe your army will come, maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damn sure we'll avenge it!"
Tony Stark (Iron Man) doesn't mince words with Loki: He's part of the Avengers, and the group will do everything in it's power to keep the world safe. Loki better watch out.

1997's 'Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery' introduced fans to Mike Myers' wild and wacky character, Austin Powers. The spoof of the James Bond films went on to be a huge cult hit with comedy movie fans. Within a few years, several other 'Austin Powers' films followed: 1999's 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' and 2002's 'Austin Powers in Goldmember.' A fourth 'Austin Powers' film is expected in 2013. All of the 'Austin Powers' movies contain a lot of memorable quotes - but the first is by far the most quotable of the bunch. Remember the first time you heard Austin utter "Groovy, baby?" Yeah, we do too. Check out some more of the best quotes from 'Austin Powers.'
The Best Austin Powers Movie Quotes,
Throw Me a Frickin' Bone Here!
Dr. Evil: "Gentlemen, I have a plan. It's called blackmail. The Royal Family of Britain are the wealthiest landowners in the world. Either the Royal Family pays us an exorbitant amount of money, or we make it seen that Prince Charles has had an affair outside of marriage and therefore would have to divorce!"
Number Two: "Prince Charles *did* have an affair. He admitted it, and they are now divorced."
Dr. Evil: "Right, people you have to tell me these things, okay? I've been frozen for thirty years, okay? Throw me a frickin' bone here! I'm the boss! Need the info."
Obviously Dr. Evil's behind the times, what with being frozen for decades and all.
Dr. Evil Therapy
Dr. Evil: "Very well. Where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low-grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a 15-year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent, I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds. Pretty standard really. At the age of 12, I received my first scribe. At the age of 14, an Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my t*******s. There really is nothing like a shorn s*****m, it's breathtaking I suggest you try it."
Is there any doubt why Dr. Evil is so...well...evil? No, no there isn't. Definitely one of the funniest monologues in the 'Austin Powers' series!
Introducing, Myself!
Austin: "Allow myself to introduce...myself!"
This movie contains so many quotable lines that it might be impossible to list all of them - at least, in one day. This one nicely sums things up: Mr. Powers thinks highly of himself.
Ill Tempered Sea Bass
Dr. Evil: "You know, I have one simple request. And that is to have sharks with frickin' laser beams attached to their heads! Now evidently my cycloptic colleague informs me that that cannot be done. Ah, would you remind me what I pay you people for, honestly? Throw me a bone here! What do we have?"
Number Two: "Sea Bass."
Dr. Evil: [pause] "Right."
Number Two: "They're mutated sea bass."
Dr. Evil: "Are they ill tempered?"
Number Two: "Absolutely."
Dr. Evil: "Oh well, that's a start."
Poor Dr. Evil: The best laid plans and all. In this case, his laser-equipped sharks plan, while brilliant, falls short of the mark (as does most of his grand schemes).
Mr. Bigglesworth Gets Upset, People Die
Dr. Evil: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to my underground lair. I have gathered here before me the world's deadliest assassins. And yet, each of you has failed to kill Austin Powers. That makes me angry. And when Dr. Evil gets angry, Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset. And when Mr. Bigglesworth gets upset, people DIE!!"
Yes, yes they do. In horrible, no good, nasty ways. Mr. Bigglesworth is apparently upset, often. Wouldn't you be if you had no hair?
Do I Make You Horny?
Austin Powers: "Do I make you horny? Randy? Do I make you horny, baby, yeah, do I?"
Vanessa: "I hope this is part of the unfreezing process."
Yet another of Austin's nearly exhaustive efforts to shag with the lovely Agent Kensington. And yet another extremely popular catch phrase.
Yay Capitalism!
Basil Exposition: "Austin, the Cold War is over!"
Austin Powers: "Finally those capitalist pigs will pay for their crimes, eh? Eh comrades? Eh?"
Basil Exposition: "Austin... we won."
Austin Powers: "Oh, smashing, groovy, yay capitalism!"
Yeah, Austin's way behind on things. 30 years as a human block of ice might make things a bit confusing. He's got some stuff to catch up on...and he needs to get on the right side!
Yeah, Baby!
Austin Powers: "Yeah, baby, yeah!"
Did Mike Myers know when he uttered this simple phrase that it would eventually find it's way into iconic pop culture status? Probably not. But it sure did. Yeah, baby, it sure did.
Ham Sandwich
Austin Powers: "Jimi Hendrix: Deceased, drugs. Janis Joplin: Deceased, alcohol. Mama Cass: Deceased, ham sandwich."
Austin is still trying to catch up on all that he missed. Cryogenic freezing for decades will certainly cause some gaps.
Shagadelic, Baby
Vanessa: "Do you think she's prettier than me?"
Austin Powers: "Who?"
Vanessa: "You know who."
Austin Powers: "Oh, the Italian bird. No, baby. She's rancid. I think you're shagadelic, baby. You're switched on. You're smashing!"
Vanessa (Elizabeth Hurley) is filled with self doubt after learning that Austin shagged Alotta F*gina. She soon learns, however, that she's totally "Shagadelic," and yet another popular Austin Powers catch phrase is born!

Cars Movie Quotes,
Saying 'Goodbye'
Lightning McQueen: "Guys! You're here! I can't believe this!"
Doc Hudson: "I knew you needed a crew chief, but I didn't know it was this bad."
Lightning McQueen: "I thought you said you'd never come back?"
Doc Hudson: "Well, I really didn't have a choice - Mater didn't get to say goodbye..."
Mater: "Goodbyeeeeeeeeeeee! Okay, I'm good."
Mater's 'goodbye' doesn't last for long - the two are once again off on an adventure (an international one!) in 2011's 'Cars 2.'
Crazy Grandpa
Lightning McQueen: "Crazy grandpa car..."
Lightning definitely has a love/hate relationship with Doc, and the young rookie seems to resist wise old Doc's efforts to steer him on the right path. Repeatedly.
Opposite World
Doc Hudson: "I'll put it simple: if you're going hard enough left, you'll find yourself turning right."
Lightning McQueen: "Oh, right. That makes perfect sense. Turn right to go left. Yes, thank you! Or should I say No, thank you, because in Opposite World, maybe that really means thank you."
The relationship between Lightning and Doc is definitely filled with tension - and humor and, eventually, friendship.
She Just Likes My Body
Sally: "Hi, folks!"
Lightning McQueen: [to Mater] "You know her?"
Mater: "She's the town attorney - and my fiancée."
Lightning McQueen: "What?!"
Mater: (grinning) "I'm just kiddin'. She jus' likes me for my body."
Oh Mater. Sally is definitely a catch, and Lightning is instantly intrigued.
Great Timing Mater
Lightning McQueen: "You know, I've really missed you Sally."
Sally: "Well, I create feelings in others that they themselves don't understand, and blah blah blah blah..." (leans in to kiss Lightning)
Mater: "McQueen and Sally, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S- uh... I-N-T!"
Lightning McQueen: "Great timing, Mater!"
As always, Mater has the timing issue down pat. Fortunately, he doesn't derail this budding relationship between Sally and Lightning.
Luigi Follow Only the Ferraris
Lightning McQueen: "I'm a very famous race car!"
Luigi: "You are famous race car? A real race car?"
Lightning McQueen: "Yes, I'm a real race car, what do you think? Look at me."
Luigi: "I have followed racing my entire life, my whole life!"
Lightning McQueen: "Then you know who I am. I am Lightning McQueen."
Luigi: "Lightning McQueen!"
Lightning McQueen: "Yes! Yes!"
Luigi: "I must scream it to the world, my excitement from the top of someplace very high. Do you know many Ferraris?"
Lightning McQueen: "No, no, no, they race on the European circuit; I'm in the Piston cup."
(Luigi and Guido frown at McQueen)
Lightning McQueen: "What?"
Luigi: "Luigi follow only the Ferraris."
Sorry Lightning, Luigi is fiercely loyal to his beloved Ferrari race cars - and you really don't fit the bill.
My Best Friend
Mater: "I know'd I made a good choice!"
Lightning McQueen: "In what?"
Mater: "My best friend..."
Awww. Little did Lightning know when he landed in little ol' Radiator Springs, he'd find his best buddy for life!
My Name is Mater
Mater: "My name is Mater."
Lightning McQueen: "Mater?"
Mater: "Yeah, like tuh-mater, but without the 'tuh."
Our first introduction to the now-beloved Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) also lets us know pretty quickly that Mater is a goofball of the highest order.
Feelings
Lightning McQueen: "I create feelings in others that they themselves don't understand."
Yeah, you sure do - not all of those feelings are positive, Mr. Rookie. You'll learn...you will learn.
Ka-Chow!
Lightning McQueen: "You know, the Rust-eze Medicated Bumper Ointment team ran a great race today. And remember: with a little Rust-eze - and an insane amount of luck - you too can look like me. Ka-chow!"
Yet another 'Cars' catch phrase, this one uttered by Lightning during a post-race event. 'Ka-chow!' shows up often in both 'Cars' movies.
