Transformers Dark of the Moon Quotes,
It's Over
Robert Epps: "It's over. I'm sorry, but it's over."
Epps (Tyrese Gibson) tries to tell Sam that things are all over now - think Sam will say "Okay, thanks buddy?" No. No he won't.
A Grave Mistake
Optimus Prime: "Everything humans know of our planet we were told had been shared. You lied to us. You've made a grave mistake."
Optimus utters this prophetic quote as the Autobots roll into the military base. Ominous!
You'll Be Fine
Sam (to Carly): "You'll be fine, I promise."
And Sam will likely keep his word. I mean, we can't have anything bad happening to the latest 'Transformers' hottie (model/actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), now can we?
Matrix of Leadership
Sentinel Prime: "So majestic and peaceful, this planet, unlike the final days of Cybertron."
Optimus Prime: "I've wondered what might've been if you had fought the final battle, instead of me."
Sentinel Prime: "Never mourn the past, young warrior. Thanks to you, our race survives."
Optimus Prime: "You were our leader, Sentinel. It is your right to lead us again."
Sentinel Prime: "In a world I do not know, I am no longer your teacher Optimus. You are mine."
Where's Carly?
Sam: "Where is she?"
The gun-wielding Sam is doing his best to make sure that fair Carly is okay - but with this quote, it doesn't look good for the fair-haired damsel in distress.
A Hope That Vanished
Optimus: "We were once a peaceful race of intelligent mechanical beings. But then came the war, between the Autobots that fought for freedom and the Decepticons that dreamt of tyranny. Over matched and outnumbered, our defeat was all but certain. But in the war's final days one Autobot ship escaped the battle, it was carrying a secret cargo which would have changed our planets fate. A desperate mission, our final hope. A hope that vanished."
The Fight Will Be Your Own
Optimus Prime: "You may lose your faith in us, but never in yourselves. From here, the fight will be your own."
Words of wisdom (and warning) from Optimus Prime, to Sam and all other humans. A huge fight is coming - and they're alone in battle.
We Are Home
Optimus Prime: "In any war, there are calms between the storms. There will be days when we lose faith. Days when our allies turn against us. But the day will never come when we forsake this planet and its people. For I am Optimus Prime, and I send this message to the universe: We are here. We are home."
We Are Not Alone, Are We?
Buzz Aldrin: "You cannot believe what we are seeing..."
Mission Control: "We are not alone, after all, are we?"
Buzz Aldrin: "No, sir. We are not alone."
This quote, uttered in the very first teaser-trailer for 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon,' is definitely an attention-getter. Buzz Aldrin and the crew of Apollo 11 have just landed on the moon and gone "dark," when they discover that, without question, they aren't alone.
Apollo 11: The Mission is a 'Go'
Walter Cronkite: "We now have had confirmation of loss of signal from Apollo 11. Apollo 11 is on the far side of the moon."
Mission Control: "Neil, you are dark on the rock. The mission is a go. You have 21 minutes."
Yes, that really is footage of legendary TV newsman Walter Cronkite - from the real Apollo 11 mission. In any list of quotes about this movie, leaving him out would be, as Optimus would say, a "grave mistake."
